Now that spring is here, our farms that had cut back their hours for the slower months are starting to
expand their hours again for the upcoming season. Check here for current early spring hours
before you head out onto the Trail.
Please note, some of our farms DO NOT have regular hours. If you want to visit those farms, please call in advance to make an appointment. And check the WHERE TO FIND US page for stores that carry our cheeses.

4 Tin Fish Farm
4 Tin Fish Farm, located in Conquest and just a short trip from Syracuse, is a family owned and operated micro goat dairy. The farm initially started out as a hobby, but as their passion grew, they began to shift their thinking as to how they might bring what they love to the public. Their goal is to provide farmstead cheese to local customers and raise quality Alpine dairy goats. Their cheeses are currently available at a select area retailers and farm markets including Bet the Farm Gourmet Food Market in Aurora, but with a week or so's notice, they will be happy to welcome you on their farm.

Heaven Scent Farm is our furthest West farm, located in Cohocton, operated by Jerald Stewart, making flavored and plain Jacks. While the farm is a non-destination farm, meaning there are no visitations at the farm, they do have a seasonal roadstand at 9273 Rte 21 in Cohocton -- where you can pick up their cheeses from May through October, in addition to several Finger Lakes Wineries and the Corning Summer & Winter Markets.

Keeley’s Cheese Company

Keeley's Cheese Company, on the East side of Cayuga Lake, is home to McGarr Farms. Their grazing herd of Registered Holstein and Jersey cows produces the high quality milk that Keeley turns into her signature cheeses. There is a self serve cheese fridge on the farm for your shopping convenience.
PRODUCTS: Across the Pond: A semi-soft, washed rind cheese. Made from the pasteurized milk of Holstein and Jersey cows. Cave-aged over 60 days, this cheese is pleasantly pungent and super creamy, with a complex, earthy flavor.
Across the Pond Reserve: A slightly firmer semi-soft cheese reminiscent of the tomme style, with a dry, brushed rind. Reserve is also made with pasteurized milk, and its natural rind imparts a pleasantly nutty flavor.
Maura: A semi-soft, washed-rind Irish style cheese.

Kenton's Cheese Co.
Kenton's Cheese Co. is located in Trumansburg and is part of Burr-Ayr Dairy, a 6th generation dairy. This new addition to the trail brings brie and swiss! While there is no farm store on site, you can find their cheeses in many markets and wineries throughout the Finger Lakes. And you can visit the farm during Open Houses.
Cheeses: Bianco, a brie-style soft cheese.
Pauline: Pauline: a Swiss Emmentaler
Crosswinds Farm & Creamery
6762 Log City Rd, Ovid
Crosswinds Farm & Creamery is located in Ovid, and can be identified easily by their white, hoop-style barn which is a local landmark! The Brown Swiss dairy cows that live there produce deliciously rich milk that is ideal for cheese making. Fresh & Alpine style cheeses are the focus, as well as gelato (whole milk ice cream). Their products are available on the farm and at many area retail locations (check website for complete listing).
Morning Glory: A soft, fresh pasteurized cows' milk cheese with a rich texture and tangy flavor similar to chevre. It spreads nicely and can be used for baking, fillings, crumbles, or simply eaten out of the container! -- plain & chive
Butternut: A baby Swiss.
