Sunset View Creamery is located on Hoffarms Dairy, a century farm located outside of Odessa, New York, 15 minutes South of Watkins Glen. The Farm Store is open Saturdays and Sundays from 10-3 until Memorial Day when hours change to 7 days a week 10-5. This Farmstead/Artisan Cheese Production Facility is operated, along with the farm, by the 4th and 5th generation of the Hoffman Family. The farm is also home to our annual Finger Lakes Cheese Festival -- which is the last Saturday in July each year.

Monterey Jacks: Flavors include Chive n’ Dill, Mama Mia, Jumpin Jack and Jalapeno
Heritage: An Italian style cheese great for cooking and grating, similar to Parmesan

Heaven Scent Farm is our furthest West farm, located in Dansville, operated by Jerald Stewart, making flavored and plain Jacks. While the farm is a non-destination farm, meaning there are no visitations at the farm, they do have a seasonal roadstand at Stoney Acres Farm, located at 7499 Sate Route 415 in Bath -- where you can pick up their cheeses from May through October, in addition to several Finger Lakes Wineries and the Corning Summer & Winter Markets.

Kenton's Cheese Co.
Kenton's Cheese Co. is located in Trumansburg and is part of Burr-Ayr Dairy, a 6th generation dairy. This new addition to the trail brings brie and swiss! While there is no farm store on site, you can find their cheeses in many markets and wineries throughout the Finger Lakes.
Cheeses: Bianco, a brie-style soft cheese.

Crosswinds Farm & Creamery

Crosswinds Farm & Creamery is located in Ovid, and can be identified easily by their white, hoop-style barn which is a local landmark! The Brown Swiss dairy cows that live there produce deliciously rich milk that is ideal for cheese making. Fresh & Alpine style cheeses are the focus, as well as other farm fresh products. Their products are available on the farm and at many area retail locations (check website for complete listing).
Morning Glory: A soft, fresh pasteurized cows' milk cheese with a rich texture and tangy flavor similar to chevre. It spreads nicely and can be used for baking, fillings, crumbles, or simply eaten out of the container! -- plain & chive

Tumino Cheese Co.
The Tumino Cheese Company specializes in Northern Italian-style cheeses. These cheeses are made using locally sourced cows' milk in the traditional Italian style at Cornell's Food Processing & Development Lab -- an incubator for many of the Region's new cheesemakers. Their cheeses have origins in the regions of Emilia-Romagna, Lombardia, and Veneto. The Finger Lakes Region is similar in climate, allowing them to create a taste of old world Italy with a local spin.
Tomettas: Malvie (short aged), Cat's Elbow (red pepper)
Tomas: Old Grey Mare (short aged), Razzie's Choice (semi-aged red pepper), Song (semi-aged juniper berries), Kidders (semi-aged peppercorn), Captain Ogden (long aged)

Engelbert Farms is a certified organic farm in Nichols, NY, farming in the same location since 1911. It is a true family farm with six family members making their living on the farm. Sons Joe and John represent the 5th generation at this location. Engelbert Farms has been farming organically since 1981, and certified organic since 1984. Cheese is made from the milk of organic, crossbreed cows who are on pasture from April through November. The Engelberts proudly point out they make their living “with” their cows, not “from” them! Farm store is open Friday and Saturday from 10 to 3, year round. Special extended hours for Finger Lakes Cheese Trail open house dates.

Located in Bath just off the southern tip of Keuka Lake, Parulski Farms is our newest member. The farm produces 5 types of cheese curd, 6 types of jack and currently has 5 types of cheddar aging which will be ready spring of 2016! Their farm store is open year round from 8a-7p (best to call first), and are regular vendors at several southern tier farmers markets.

Shtayburne Farm in Rock Stream, NY produces Cheddars, Jacks and Fresh Curds. Over three generations of experience in dairy farming. It starts with dirt….good dirt, and the rich soil that they farm is among the richest in the Finger Lakes region.

Side Hill Acres Goat Farm is located in picturesque Candor, a short, scenic drive from Ithaca or Binghamton. Since 1987 Russell and Rita Kellog have been an established goat dairy. In 1994, they also became a goat cheese processing plant. As a family-operated goat dairy, they are committed to maintaining herd health as well as premium quality hand-crafted goat milk products. Tour the farm and go into the goat barn which contains 138 head of dairy goats. Mingle with the goats and learn how to milk a goat by hand! Tour the cheese plant and learn how their cheese is made. Taste their award-winning cheeses and cheese products. Shop their farm store for their cheeses and a wide variety of other local, artisan foods including fudge, gluten-free and organic foods, herbs, bulk foods, honey, maple syrup and more. They're open year round, nearly every day of the week!

At Finger Lakes Dexter Creamery, LLC, they practice the tradition of kefir culture. They are pleased to introduce an artisanal, farmstead kefir cheese, cultured with living kefir grains and handcrafted with the creamy raw milk from their grass fed and pastured Irish Dexter cows.
